▶ I REGULARLY MAKE NEW FRIENDS.
▷ 3. Olivia is very outgoing and likes making friends, but she also had a very sheltered childhood that kept her from making as many friends as she wanted. In that sense, more like a 4 in the past and a 2 in the present.
▶ SEEING OTHER PEOPLE CRY MAKES ME WANT TO CRY TOO.
▷ 2. Highly empathetic, but the events of the Termina festival by necessity made her more capable of cutting off her emotions in intense situations. Whenever she's not in an immediate crisis, though, she feels strongly, and makes other people's troubles her own, living with a powerful desire for everyone to get along and be okay.
▶ I OFTEN MAKE A BACKUP PLAN FOR A BACKUP PLAN.
▷ 4. She's a quick thinker on her feet, but doesn't plan ahead in that level of detail. She's too much of an optimist to plan for failure.
▶ I USUALLY STAY CALM, EVEN WHEN UNDER A LOT OF PRESSURE.
▷ 2. She does feel a lot of anxiety, but she's quite good at putting on a brave face and pushing through the stress. She wasn't always that way, but the constant mortal danger and psychological assaults of Prehevil taught her to switch off her emotions in a pinch very quickly.
▶ I AM VERY SENTIMENTAL.
▷ 1. A true bleeding heart, who came to Prehevil for the purpose of reconnecting with the one family member she truly still loves.
▶ EVEN A SMALL MISTAKE CAN CAUSE ME TO DOUBT MY OVERALL ABILITIES AND KNOWLEDGE.
▷ 3. She's more forgiving of some kinds of mistakes, like social or intellectual ones, but gets stressed when she feels that her disability is slowing others down. In the worst circumstances, she'll encourage people to leave her behind in order to save themselves. She talks openly about her disability and acts like it's not a big deal, but that kind of self-identified 'weakness' troubles her greatly.
▶ I AM MORE INCLINED TO FOLLOW MY HEAD THAN MY HEART.
▷ 5. If she followed her head, she never would have set foot in Prehevil again. All she needed to do to have an idyllic life was to not go looking for her sister, who she already hadn't spoken to in a long time.
▶ I AM PRONE TO WORRYING THAT THINGS WILL TAKE A TURN FOR THE WORSE.
▷ 3. She's an optimist who's been through a lot of bad things. She worries by instinct, but deliberately pushes back against it with a more sunny outlook. If she survives through all her trials but loses all joy in her heart, then how would that be better than dying?
▶ I ENJOY WATCHING PEOPLE ARGUE.
▷ 5. A habitual people-pleaser, she wants everyone to get along. Even strangers shouting at each other is likely to get her trying to mediate.
▶ I TEND TO AVOID DRAWING ATTENTION TO MYSELF.
▷ 3. No strong opinion either way on being the center of attention.
▶ I OFTEN DO THINGS AT THE LAST POSSIBLE MOMENT.
▷ 4. Not because she's a strong planner, but because she's too headstrong to put things off for too long. Once she sets her mind to something, she simply does it.
▶ I FIND IT EASY TO EMPATHIZE WITH A PERSON WHOSE EXPERIENCES ARE VERY DIFFERENT FROM MINE.
▷ 1. Olivia grew up in the shadow of her twin sister Reila, who was incredible at almost everything, and whose life was better than hers in every way. Despite this, rather than developing a jealous grudge, Reila was one of her closest friends, and she feels nothing but fondness for her. She's a pro at seeing the good in people.
▶ I BECOME BORED OR LOSE INTEREST WHEN THE DISCUSSION GETS HIGHLY THEORETICAL.
▷ 3. If anything, she has a slight preference for the concrete, but not enough to shrink away from discussing it. Her specialty is botany, which is a lot of specific, practical knowledge that can bring about quantifiable results, so her mind runs on those tracks a little better.
▶ I RARELY FEEL INSECURE.
▷ 5. She actually feels insecure a lot, with her persistent worry about becoming a burden to others. She'd almost rather be left behind than force people to wait for her to catch up.
▶ I AM STILL BOTHERED BY MISTAKES I MADE A LONG TIME AGO.
▷ 3. There's no specific remorse expressed for past mistakes, but her connection to the past is expressed through its tragedies - it was the severed bond with the sister she was so close to in the past that drew her back home in the first place, even if Reila's disappearance wasn't her fault.
